L-com Inc. announced it has expanded its extensive USB cable line to include new shorter length cables. The shorter cables offer customers the ability to make more precise cable length purchases to suit various applications.
The new lengths are available in 0.75 meters (approximately 2.4 feet) and 0.3 meters (~1 foot). They are added to all of L-com’s USB cable assembly lines. Previously, L-com’s shortest length offered was 0.5 meters (~1.6 feet) and then 1 meter increments up to 5 meters (~16.4 feet). All length options will be stocked in the US for same-day shipment.
“We’ve found that by offering more length options off-the-shelf,” said Steve Smith, Product Manager. “Our customers are better served, being able to purchase the length that best fits their application without needing a custom solution.”
