The model JCA12-2300 PCS low noise amplifier is designed for use at room temperature and cryogenic applications. The unit realizes an improvement in noise figure of 0.1 dB for every 50° Kelvin decrease in temperature. The amplifier is unconditionally stable, includes SMA removable connectors and can be used for drop-in design. The PCS amplifier features low noise figures with high dynamic range as well as repeatable phase characteristics and high reliability, making the unit suitable for all PCS tower-top and masthead applications. It operates over a frequency range of 1850 to 1950 MHz and has a gain of 26 dB (min), 30 dB (max) with a DC power of +15 V DC at 100 mA (typ).

GMSK Modulation Paging Amplifier
The model RMPA-1 30 W Gaussian-filtered minimum-shift keying (GMSK) modulation paging amplifier is designed to operate in the 935 to 940 MHz paging spectrum. The unit is supplied in a 19-inch, 2 RU-high rack-mount chassis with internal cooling fans. Implemented in LDMOS FET technology, the amplifier provides ruggedness, reliability, higher gain per stage and improved efficiency over comparable polar products. The unit incorporates over-temperature and RF bypass features. RF-input-to-output bypass is activated on incidence of over temperature, loss of AC power or amplifier device failure. Standard operation is from 110 V AC with DC operation available as an option. A front-panel (+12 V DC at 500 mA) auxiliary power take-off is provided for external use.

The model CEL8096-20 PCS GaAs FET power amplifier provides 20 W of linear output powerover a 100 MHz nominal bandwidth from 854 to 960 MHz. High linearity and good intermodulation performance assure premium system operation. The amplifier can be configured in a rack chassis or outdoor enclosure. These two configurations offer an integral power supply, internal cooling and front-panel displays. The amplifier features +12 V DC with reverse polarity and overvoltage protection along with an integral output isolator for safe operation into open/short circuit. The model ALH208C two-stage, self-biased psuedomorphic high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT) amplifier operates over the 35 to 45 GHz frequency band. Typical noise figure is 3.5 dB with associated linear gain of 12 dB and P1dB of +10 dBm. The balanced design topology provides unconditional stability as well as input and output SWR in the order of 1.5. The amplifier is suitable for broadband receivers and transceivers in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communications systems. The device is fully passivated and operates from a single +5 V power supply.
