MESL Microwave has developed a C-band polarizer for use in high power TWTA based radar systems. The company’s expertise and proven heritage in ferrite switches and phase shifters is the key that allows the radar to be switched between linear horizontal or vertical and circular polarisations in less than 2 μs.
This highly integrated solution, delivers less than 1 dB insertion loss; a peak power handling of 60 kW and average power of 1.5 kW. MESL has over 50 years of experience designing passive microwave components and supplies products to the defence, space, industrial and telecoms markets. The range of ferrite switches and phase shifters covers the range of 3 to 40 GHz.
