RT Logic's Telemetrix® Products Operational, Primary Communications Link to White Sands.

Columbia, MD, July 7, 2009 -- Integral Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-ISYS), today announced that RT Logic, a wholly-owned subsidiary, has delivered and made operational its products supporting the South Pole Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS) Relay II Project (SPTR II). Under a contract awarded by LJT & Associates, Inc. (LJT, Inc.), for SPTR II, RT Logic supplied several products including its Telemetrix 1200HDR (T1200HDR) high data rate modem, the Telemetrix 400XR (T400XR) modem, and the Telemetrix 500SB (T500SB) Space Bridge.

High-rate file transfers are enabled by RT Logic’s T1200HDR modem and T500SB communicating through NASA’s TDRSS Ku-band Single Access Return (KuSAR) high-rate link. These RT Logic products will combine to enable science data relays through file transfers. Low-rate data transfers between the South Pole and White Sands are supported by RT Logic’s T400XR and the T500SB through the TDRSS’ S-band RF link.

"It was a pleasure to work with the talented team at RT Logic," said Julio Varela, SPTR II Program Manager for LJT & Associates. "RT Logic delivered quality engineered products for a program that utilizes a unique set of custom interfaces and requirements. RT Logic’s flexible and reconfigurable architectures proved to be a valuable asset in meeting the unique requirements of the program. RT Logic’s timely delivery and quick response engineering support contributed to the success of the SPTR II Project."

"We are very pleased to be working with LJT & Associates on the communications link with the Amundsen Scott South Pole Station," said Matt Langenbahn, RT Logic’s SPTR II Program Manager. "RT Logic’s extensive experience with TDRSS ground instrumentation solutions allowed us to meet a tight schedule without sacrificing product performance or quality."
