The 2011 Fall season is upon us and I've got my trade show cap on quite often lately. Microwave Journal is participating in eight shows between now and December. Here is my To-Do list for the coming weeks, which may be useful to some of you who are participating in the same shows:
EuMW in Manchester, October 9-14
- This week: organize show shipment.Truck picks up freight on Sept. 21.
- Next week: broadcast email to customers and colleagues announcing our participation
- September 28: prepare show site file of orders and payments processed
- October 6: confirm flight and hotel reservation
COMSOL in Boston and in Germany, October 13-15 and 26-28
- This week: register for conference by Sept. 16 for discount
- Next week: obtain tracking information for show shipment
- September 28: schedule meetings with other attendees/exhibitors
AMTA in Colorado, October 16-21
- This week: get shipping and show guide ad instructions
- Next week: design show guide ad and gather material for show shipment
- September 28: register booth staff and other attendees
- October 5: download the program and plan the week's activities/meetings
4G World in Chicago, October 24-27
- This week: order meeting room from show mgmt
- Next week: register for conference by Sept. 30 for discount
- October 10: obtain tracking information for show shipment
- October 17: plan the week's activities/meetings using tools at show website
IME in Shanghai, November 2-4
- This week: obtain shipping instructions and order form for booth furnishings
- Next week: design booth space graphics
- September 28: order booth space graphics and furniture
- October 10: obtain tracking information for show shipment
- October 17: register staff attending the show
COMCAS in Tel Aviv, November 7-9
- This week: obtain shipping instructions
- Next week: register for conference by Sept. 20 for discount
MILCOM in Baltimore, November 7-10
- Next week: register for conference by Sept. 22 for discount
- October 10: obtain tracking information for show shipment
APMC in Melbourne, December 5-8
- This week: obtain shipping information
- November 10: obtain tracking information for show shipment
