Title: RF Signal Chain Solutions Revolutionizing Satellite Communications, Aerospace and Defense
Date: October 29, 2025
Time: 8am PT / 11am ET
Sponsored by: RFMW and Microchip
Presented by: Baljit Chandhoke, Product Manager, RF Products, Microchip
Abstract:
Microchip RF signal chain solutions with PAs, LNAs, switches, transistors, diodes, saw filters, VCSO’s are revolutionizing Satellite Communications, Aerospace and Defense applications. In this webinar, you will learn how RF systems moving to higher-order modulation schemes such as 64/128/256 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) are delivering high linearity and efficiency in denser environments with stringent peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Participants will learn about gallium nitride (GaN) on silicon carbide (SiC) and its role in providing the best figure of merit for the power amplifier in terms of linear output power with the benefit of SWaP-C. The webinar will cover MMSM RF diodes, integrated switched SAW filter banks providing miniature solutions saving board space in system designs. By the end of this webinar, you will learn about tradeoffs in analog, digital and metamaterial beamforming technologies along with Microchip’s RF signal chain solutions that are critical to improving and offering more compelling next-generation products for Satellite Communications, 5G, Industrial, Aerospace & Defense applications.
