Title: Signal Generator Demo Days

Date: May 15, 2025

Time: 8am PT / 11am ET

Sponsored by: Keysight Technologies

Presented by: Randy Becker, 5G Application Engineer, Taylor Plorin, Product Manager and Brian Whitaker, Product Marketing Manager at Keysight Technologies

Abstract:
High-frequency device performance depends on precise design, but real-world factors like material RF testing slowing you down? Complex test setups and manual corrections can eat up valuable time and delay results.

Join us for Signal Generator Demo Days and see how to cut setup time, simplify your workflow, and improve test accuracy — all using Keysight’s enhanced MXG signal generator, offering 1 – 4 channels in a 2U box.

What You'll See in These Hands-On Demos:

  • Power Amplifier Testing: Cut DUT match correction time from hours to minutes with the MXG’s built-in reflectometer.

  • Multi-port Receiver Testing: Simplify coexistence, beamforming, and MIMO spatial multiplexing testing using 4 phase-coherent signal channels — each with up to 1 GHz bandwidth.

Get live access to Keysight’s RF expert, ask questions, and learn how to tackle your toughest test challenges.

Presenter Bios:
Randy Becker is a 5G Application Engineer in Keysight's Internet Infrastructure Network Access group. He has over 20 years of technical marketing experience in cellular communications at Hewlett-Packard, Agilent, and Keysight. In his current role, he works with network equipment manufacturers around the world to ensure the successful development and deployment of 5G base stations.

Taylor Plorin is a Midrange Signal Generator Product Manager supporting the CXG, EXG and MXG product families. She has been with Keysight full-time since February 2020 after graduating from Sonoma State University late 2019 with her B.S. in Electrical Engineering. When she isn’t working in the frequency domain, she uses her free time for weightlifting, reading, climbing, playing boardgames, and training her new shih-tzu puppy!

Brian Whitaker has WW marketing responsibility for Keysight's RF solutions, focusing on clearly communicating how these solutions effectively solve customer challenges. He has extensive experience in various technology fields and end markets, having previously worked for Texas Instruments, 3M, SolarWinds, and Ping Identity before joining Keysight Technologies. Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
