Title: Addressing Filtering Challenges in Digital Broadband Receivers for Electronic Warfare Applications

Date: OnDemand

Sponsored by: RFMW and Knowles Precision Devices

Presented by: Tim Brauner, Director of Business Development, Microwave

Abstract:
Electronic Warfare receivers are being pushed to operate at higher bandwidths while simultaneously reducing size, weight, and power (SWaP). In this Webinar, we will breakdown how you can address these conflicting demands by diving into the building blocks of the receivers used in electronic warfare applications with a focus on filtering needs and technologies. Highlights of our discussion will include the following:

  • Technologies to consider for optimizing filter size with respect to SWaP and required functionality
  • How to solve the miniaturization challenges associated with iterative passive RF component design
  • An overview of the types of filters you need to consider depending on the job you need to do
