2014 NIWeek RF and Wireless Summit

August 5-6 in Austin, TX

July 21, 2014

Join industry and research leaders from around the world to discuss the future of RF and wireless design and test at NIWeek Aug 4-7 in Austin, TX. Topics include wireless technologies, 5G communications technologies, advanced testing techniques, trends in microwave design, RF characterization, high volume test, and wireless communications design.

Microwave Journal will be sponsoring the event and live streaming the following 4 RF Summit sessions for free.

Tuesday August 5, 2014
1:00pm – 2:00pm

Hear Takhoe Inoue from NI, Zoya Popvic from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and Christian Fager from Chalmers University of Technology talk about state-of-the-art techniques for component design, characterization, and optimization. They will explore the elements of nonlinear characterization, Doherty amplifier design, and the benefits of envelope tracking.

Tuesday August 5, 2014
3:30pm – 4:00pm

Do you want to know the three key power amplifier test techniques every RF engineer should know? If so, you want to be sure to tune in to watch this RF Summit session live from NIWeek 2014. Join Marc Vanden Bossche from NI examine in-depth demonstrations of the latest test techniques for the design, optimization, and characterization of power amplifiers. Testing techniques include digital predistortion, envelope tracking, and load pull.

Tuesday August 5, 2014
4:45pm – 5:45pm

You don’t want to miss this expert panel discussion on the 5G (R) evolution! Be sure to tune in to watch this RF Summit session live from NIWeek 2014. Join us as the leading experts discuss the challenges and trends faced in meeting the growing demands in bandwidth on next generation wireless communication networks (5G) and the roles in which wireless communication design tools have in the design, prototyping, and deployment of enabling wireless technologies of tomorrow.

Wednesday August 6, 2014
10:30pm -11:15pm

Join Gerhard Fettweis from Technische Universität Dresden, in a compelling account of the 5G revolution ahead.
