 Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced it has extended its RCL e3 series of long side termination thick film chip resistors with new devices in the 0406 and 1225 case sizes. 

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., is adding to its QUAD HIFREQ series of high-power surface-mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs) with a new device in the quad 2525 case size. Designed for high-frequency RF applications in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) coils and generators, RF instrumentation, telecom base stations, lasers, and military communications systems, the QUAD HIFREQ 2525 case device features an ultra-high Q (> 4000 at 10 MHz, 1 pF), ultra-low ESR down to 0.018 Ω, and DC voltage ratings up to 3600 V.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduces the industry's first surface-mount, four-terminal Power Metal Strip® current sensing resistors in the compact 2726 and 4026 case sizes to provide an operating temperature range to +275 °C. The Vishay Dale WSLT2726 and WSLT4026 combine their high-temperature performance with 3 W power ratings and extremely low resistance values down to 0.002 Ω.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced a new universal edgewound power resistor. Providing a convenient drop-in replacement for competing solutions, the universal-mounted EDGU combines a high-reliability design with continuous duty operation up to 85 A and a short-time overload of 10x rated power for five seconds. 

At IMS 2014, Vishay will be highlighting its VJ HIFREQ series and VJ QUAD HIFREQ series of surface-mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs). Offering high self resonance and a low dissipation factor of = 0.05 % in the 0402, 0603, and 0805 case sizes, devices in the VJ HIFREQ series are optimized for filter and matching networks, and amplifier and DC blocking circuits in high-frequency commercial applications. The MLCCs reduce signal loss and energy consumption in power amplifier modules, VoIP networks, cellular base stations, GPS systems, and satellite, WiFi (802.11), and WiMAX (802.16) wireless communication. The VJ HIFREQ series features broad working voltages from 25 VDC to 250 VDC and wide capacitance ranges from 1 pF to 1.5 nF.

 

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced a new automotive-grade IHLP® low-profile, high-current inductor with an industry-high continuous operating temperature range to +180 °C. Offered in the 2525 case size with a low profile of 3.0 mm, the new Vishay Dale IHLP-2525CZ-8A provides a wide range of inductance values from 0.47 µH to 22 µH.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced a new environmentally friendly metallized polypropylene film capacitor for DC-link applications that offers a broad capacitance range of 1 µF to 500 µF, compact footprints, and voltage ratings from 500 V to 1200 V.

Offered in the compact 1206 case size, the Vishay Dale RCP series devices feature a power rating of 1 W at +70°C with a standard board mount and up to 11 W with active temperature control.
