The new design focuses on quick settling and stable operation over temperature extremes. Switching between any attenuation level is typically settled within 1 dB in about 400ns.
The reported evanescent coupled DCSR-4096 (4096 MHz) VCO offers fundamental output tones for low noise signal source applications (without frequency multiplication), and can be extended for any other fixed and narrow frequency band (100-12000MHz) applications.
