Exelis has been awarded a direct commercial contract valued at $5.4 million to provide communications installation equipment to an international customer.

Exelis has unveiled a system to allow continued communications in a heavily jammed battlefield environment. The small, lightweight Integrated Protection and Transmission System (iProTxS) can be quickly integrated with existing radios and electronic countermeasure (ECM) equipment on both mounted and dismounted platforms.
