AMICOM is the European Network of Excellence on RF MEMS and RF microsystems technology.
Funded under the 6th Framework Program (FP6) of the European Commission, AMICOM is an EU initiative that aims to structure and consolidate EU research in the field of RF-MEMS and RF microsystems technology through a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach. From design and modeling to testing and characterization through material and fabrication technology, several expertises are available within the consortium (from fundamental science to actual implementation and fabrication facilities).
The final objective of the network is to enhance EU competitiveness in the field of advanced integrated circuit and packaging technologies for microwave and millimeter-wave applications by supporting the industrial stakeholders.
