Richardson RFPD Inc. announced that it will distribute products from Innovative Power Products Inc., a designer and manufacturer of a variety of broadband, high power couplers, combiners, RF power resistors and terminations operating up to 12 GHz, with power levels up to 2.5 kW for RF and microwave applications.
Richardson RFPD will distribute and support IPP’s entire line product line on a global basis, with the exception of India, and will emphasize design-in opportunities for its customers.
“RF power applications, particularly linear applications such as communications and electronic warfare, are moving to broadband amplifiers that can accommodate multiple radio waveforms and complex digital signals,” stated Mark Vitellaro, director, strategic marketing, Richardson RFPD. “IPP enables that design trend, and they are on the forefront in product development with new classes of devices, such as impedance-transforming hybrid couplers and high-power surface mount dual-directional couplers.”
