800 MHz VCOs
The models PVF-861 and PV-800 VCOs are designed for wireless private branch exchange, wide-area network, cordless telephones and cellular applications. The small footprint model PVF-861 measures 0.3" x 0.3" x 0.16" and covers 860 to 925 MHz with a 0 to 4.5 V tuning voltage and a phase noise of –90 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. The model PV-800 targets the 800 to 920 MHz range with a 0 to 5 V tuning voltage and a phase noise of –92 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. Both VCOs have a 5 V supply voltage.

Surface-mount VCXOs
The S1318 series voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO) operate on a supply voltage of 3.3 V DC +/-10 percent. The devices are available from 32 to 120 MHz at a frequency stability of +/-50 ppm over all conditions with an absolute pull range of +/-25 or +/-50 ppm. The operating temperature range is from 0° to +70°C or –40° to 85°C. These surface-mount oscillators are available in industry-standard six-pin plastic J-leaded packages. They are HCMOS and TTL compatible, and are equipped with a tristate output feature for ease of testing. The parts are shipped on tape and reel in 500-piece increments. A 5 V version also is available (S1518 series). Delivery: stock to 12 weeks.

1410 - 1440 MHz VCO
The model CLV1425E VCO is designed for high frequency wireless asynchronous transfer mode radio applications. The compact yet robust device generates frequencies between 1410 to 1440 MHz with 1 to 5 V DC of control voltage. It exhibits a spectral purity of –112 dBc/Hz (typ) at 10 kHz from the carrier and attenuates the second harmonic to better then –35 dBc. The model conserves power by operating off a 5 V DC source while drawing only 28 mA (typ) and is guaranteed to operate over the extended commercial temperature range of –40° to +85°C. The VCO pushes < 1 MHz/V with a five percent change of the supply voltage and pulls < 2 MHz with a 14 dB return loss, any phase. It is supplied in an industry-standard miniature surface-mount package measuring 0.50" x 0.50" x 0.22".
