The IEEE, along with the WAMICON 2020 organizers, have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, relying upon authoritative sources for guidance such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. The health, safety and well-being of all conference participants is their priority.
After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance and news released by relevant national departments, organizers have decided to postpone WAMICON 2020 from April 15–17, 2020 to December 1–3, 2020. The conference location will remain in Clearwater Beach, Fla.
