Abstract:
The presenters will provide an overview of recent trends in Radar applications and how this impacts RF component selection. The need for switched filter banks close to the antenna will be discussed, and potential solutions will be explored alongside RF characteristics the engineer needs to consider when constructing and integrating a filter bank for this application.

Presenter Bios:
Robert is the Vice President, RF and Microwave Products a Knowles Precision Devices. He is responsible for the RF and Microwave business including product management, new product introduction and product line strategy. With over 30 years of experience in wireless and wired products and technology, he has held leadership positions at a number of technology companies in product marketing and product line management. Robert has an MBA from University of Texas at Austin and BSEE from Cal Poly Pomona.

Greg is the Director of Microwave R&D at Knowles Precision Devices. He and his team are responsible for driving growth for the RF/Microwave product line by developing new products utilizing new and existing technologies. Greg has over 19 years of experience modelling, designing and selling RF/Microwave components in a variety of hands-on and leadership roles. Over the years, Greg attained credentials as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Red Hat System Administrator and an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator, and authored three patents (some pending). Greg has an MSEE, MS Engineering Management and CAS in Microwave Engineering from Syracuse University and a BSEE from Binghamton University (SUNY).
