Title: Multiphysics Analysis of Microwave Components

Date: September 14, 2023

Time: 11am PT / 2pm ET

Sponsored by: COMSOL

Presented by: Ping Chu, COMSOL

Abstract:
Microwave and millimeter-wave components play a vital role in high-speed communication, radar, and satellite systems. The increasing demand for higher performance and reliability necessitates a comprehensive understanding of their behavior under various operating conditions. The COMSOL Multiphysics® simulation software and add-on RF Module provides functionality for simulating antennas, filters, couplers, power dividers, and waveguides coupled with multiphysics phenomena — such as thermal and structural analysis — to capture the complex interaction between electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical effects and predict more accurate performance in the real systems. In this webinar, we will review the capabilities of COMSOL Multiphysics® for microwave modeling and cover the thermostructural effects on the electrical performance of the conventional devices. The webinar will include a live demo and a Q&A session.
