Title: Designing with Juliano and Katerina eLearning Series: Antenna Simulation and Optimization

Date: March 18, 2025

Time: 8am PT / 11am ET

Sponsored by: Ansys

Presented by: Juliano Mologni, Product Manager, Ansys and Katerina Galitskaya, Senior Antenna Engineer, Kaelus

Abstract:
Brush up on the basics or learn new simulation techniques with design experts Juliano Mologni (Ansys) and Katerina Galitskaya (Kaelus). In this webinar, they’ll demonstrate real antenna simulations, showcasing tradeoffs and optimizations using advanced simulation software. Key parameters like operating frequency, bandwidth, and efficiency will be explored to enhance antenna performance. This webinar is part of an eLearning series with three more sessions on May 13, Sep 16, and Nov 4—so save the dates.

Presenter Bios:
Juliano Mologni joined Ansys in 2019 as a product manager for electronics products. He has more than 25 years of experience in computational electromagnetics, author of patents and more than 70 journal and conference papers. Juliano is an electrical engineer with a Master's in semiconductor manufacturing processes and his PhD involves research on automotive EMC and signal integrity. His previous experience includes positions of hardware engineer and engineering management at Motorola, Delphi Automotive Systems, WebTech Wireless and ESSS.

Katerina Galitskaya is a Senior Antenna Engineer at Kaelus. She is a technical blog writer for Microwave Journal and an active member of the EM simulation community. Since 2023 Katerina has been volunteering as a mentor for early-career engineers in the European Women in Engineering group.
