Title: Additive Manufacturing Solutions for High Performance 3D RF Circuits

Date: March 8, 2022

Time: 8am PT / 11am ET

Sponsored by: Rogers Corporation

Presented by: Trevor Polidore, New Product Development Group Leader at Rogers Corporation

3D Printing provides new freedom for engineers to build RF systems where additional design complexity can add significant value and performance that can’t be achieved by conventional fabrication processes. With the introduction of Radix Printable Dielectrics from Rogers Corporation, the industry now has access to scalable, high-resolution 3D printing processes for RF dielectric components.

This webinar will discuss the advantages and tradeoffs of this printing technology along with considerations for metallization and performance results from additively manufactured parts. It will cover:

  • How different dielectric materials can be 3D printed
  • How different printing processes impact part properties relevant for RF components
  • Measured data evaluating different technical paths for 3D printing dielectrics
  • Overview of some technologies for metallization of 3D printed parts
  • Example components that take advantage of 3D printing design freedom
