Mark Fitzgerald, Director, Autonomous Vehicle Service

Mark Fitzgerald, Director, Autonomous Vehicle Service (AVS) in Strategy Analytics’ Global Automotive Practice manages strategic analysis, research and forecasting related to advanced ADAS and automated driving technologies.

Mark’s 20+ years of automotive experience includes: competitive market analysis, forecasting, and consulting in the areas of automotive electronics and sensor applications in ADAS and automated driving, powertrain control, passenger safety, and vehicle information systems.

Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Mark headed the Global Automotive Technology Group at IHS Markit and was a Marketing Analyst for Stoneridge, a tier one automotive supplier of electronic sensors and actuators.

Mark holds a BS in Business Management from Providence College, Providence, RI, USA.

Holger Gryska, Automotive Market Segment Manager

Since 2019 Holger Gryska has been the Automotive Market Segment Manager responsible for ADAS sensor test at Rohde & Schwarz. Prior to that, he had more than 20 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry working with complex ICs for automotive applications, especially advanced driver assistance, in various roles such as product management, marketing, business development, product definition and implementation. In his current role, Holger drives Rohde & Schwarz’s solutions to help customers meet their test and measurement challenges on the way towards autonomous driving.

Mo Emadi, CTO and Co-Founder

Mohammad Emadi has 19 years of experience in sensor and wireless communication system design. He began his career in 2003 as an engineer at Sharif University Research Center working on high frequency communications. Mohammad left Sharif University Research Center in 2005 and founded Sanat Sharif and was its CEO throughl 2011. He grew the business to profitability, with over 200 employees designing and building wireless sensors and communication links with phased array antennas. In 2011 he assumed the role of CTO to focus and lead Sanat Sharif’s technology development.

In 2013, Mohammad joined Cornell University as a post-doc research associate working on sub-millimeter wave imaging systems for which he won the ECE innovation award. He joined Qualcomm in 2014 as a Senior Staff manager, to develop WiFi and small-cell technologies as part of their connectivity business.

Mohammad joined Lyft Level 5 in 2018 as Head of Radar where it became clear autonomous systems are in need of a better radar solution. In 2019, he co-founded Zadar Labs with the goal of advancing radar perception to automation. He currently serves as CTO.

Mohammad has over 80 patents and papers published in engineering, science and technology journals. He was Iran’s Best Researcher of the Year in 2009 and Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010. He received his PhD and M.Sc. in EE from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, in 2012 and 2006, respectively, and his B.Sc. in EE from Tehran University in 2004.

Ashish Lachhwani, Chief Business Development

Ashish Lachhwani is a 2004 Institute Silver Medallist from IIT, Madras. He joined Texas Instruments (TI), Wireless Group in 2004 and was instrumental in developing 2 generations of TI low power Bluetooth Radio solutions called SimpleLink. He is a co-author for the book on Ultra-Low-Power Radios published by Springer. Ashish was the Frequency Synthesizer architect of Qualcomm Snapdragon 65x RFIC. He holds 10 issued patents and is the Chief Business development at Steradian.
