Flexible Coaxial Cable: FL47-6VM+

January 1, 2021

Mini-Circuits’ model FL47-6VM+ flexible coaxial cable assemblies are available in a variety of lengths for low-loss interconnections in commercial, industrial, and military systems. The RoHS-compliant cables can form tight bends, with minimum static bend radius of 5 mm and minimum dynamic bend radius of 10 mm. The durable 50-Ω cables are constructed with PTFE dielectric, silver-plated copper-clad steel center conductor, and tin-soaked copper braid outer shield.

They are supplied with 2.4-mm male coaxial connectors for sure, broadband low-loss connections. For a 6-in. cable, the insertion loss is typically 0.6 dB from DC to 6 GHz, 0.7 dB to 18 GHz, 1.0 dB to 26.5 GHz, and 1.4 dB to 50 GHz. The return loss is typically 31.5 dB from DC to 6 GHz, 34.5 dB to 18 GHz, 32.7 dB to 26.5 GHz, and 28.4 dB to 50 GHz. The 6-in. cable handles maximum power of 61 W at 0.5 GHz, 16 W at 6 GHz, 6 W at 26.5 GHz, and 1 W at 50 GHz. These broadband flexible cables are designed for operating temperatures from -55 to +100°C.
