2kW, L-Band, GaN Solid State Power Amplifier

RFHIC has released its latest GaN solid-state power amplifier, a 2kW GaN SiC power amplifier designed for industrial, scientific and medical applications operating at 1295 to 1305 MHz. 

Fabricated with RFHIC’s state of the art GaN HEMT, this solid-state amplifier provides users with 65 percent drain efficiency operating from a 50V DC supply. This GaN SSPA is ideal for industrial heating and scientific applications such as particle accelerator, plasma generation for cleaning and material processing, and C02 lasers. The RIM132K0-20 provides excellent thermal stability and ruggedness and is fully externally matched to 50 Ohms. This SWaP-C SSPA is an ideal replacement for legacy tube-based systems, offering better reliability without the need for high voltage power supply.
