Mercury Systems Receives $2.9M Follow-On Order for Advanced GPS SAASM Devices

December 21, 2018

Mercury Systems Inc. announced it received a $2.9 million follow-on order from a leading electronics manufacturer for state-of-the-art GPS Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Modules (SAASM) devices for an undisclosed application. The order was booked in the company’s fiscal 2019 second quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.

In addition to high-performance SAASM devices, Mercury’s digital microelectronics product offerings include BuiltSECURE™ high density secure memory, precision-engineered BuiltSECURE system-in-package (SiP) devices and secure solid state storage devices in a variety of form factors. All of the company’s digital microelectronics solutions are optimized for size, weight, power and affordability.

“This follow-on order from a prominent electronics manufacturer further validates how Mercury’s next generation business model unlocks value at all tiers of the defense supply chain,” said Iain Mackie, VP and GM of Mercury’s Microelectronics Secure Solutions group. “With highly skilled engineering and manufacturing resources tightly coupled in the same facility, our Advanced Microelectronics Centers are the ideal solution for digital microelectronics for secure sensor and safety-critical processing subsystems.”
