Tempest Telecom Solutions Adds 3 High Level Executives

As the company prepares for growth, Tempest Telecom Solutions announced the addition of three new high level executives: Glenn Edwards as vice president and general manager of repair and logistics, Amaro Oliveira as vice president of business development and Michael Kletchko as senior vice president of sales & marketing.

As vice president and general manager of repair and logistics, Glenn Edwards brings valuable telecom equipment repair and services experience from a long career with respected industry leaders, such as Nortel, CTDI and Telmar/iQor.

“I have worked with Glenn for many years and have witnessed firsthand his work ethic, strong track record of performance, and tremendous amount of operational capability,” Michael Kletchko, Tempest's new senior vice president of sales & marketing, said. “His addition to the senior management team will pave the way for the expansion of the repair unit as more multi-vendor product capabilities come online. Tempest has increasingly received hardware support interest from customers who value working with a single party across multiple technologies, and I am confident that Glenn’s expertise will allow us to provide a high-quality, efficient service.”

In 2018, Tempest plans to drive growth by making key investments to improve the overall efficiency and productivity of the organization and recognizes a significant opportunity for growth within its repair and logistics business unit. Edwards will fulfill that need and focus on expanding the repair team to strengthen the company’s competitiveness and offerings.

AmaroAs the vice president of business development, Amaro Oliveira will work with network operators globally to help them reduce costs by utilizing Tempest for their legacy network support and TAC requirements. Oliveira comes to Tempest with more than 40 years of experience in the industry and most recently served as a client partner with Ericsson Inc. where he oversaw solution development and contract negotiation.

Oliveira is a highly motivated and accomplished telecommunication services executive with extensive network operations and maintenance experience, as well as proven business leadership to improve customers efficiency and profitability. He holds a bachelors degree in business administration.

Michael Kletchko, as senior vice president of sales & marketing, will lead the company’s sales and supply organization and manage all marketing activities while growing Tempest’s revenue and gross profit in all business units. With 30 years experience in the telecom industry, an engineering background and proven leadership experience, Kletchko’s addition will position Tempest to respond to new opportunities as 5G comes online and operators look for simplified, all-in-one solutions.Michael

Kletchko comes to Tempest from Ericsson Inc. where he expanded global contracts, drove record sales and managed customer priorities. He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
