Spacek Labs Launches New Frequency Converters/Mixers and High Pass Filter

Spacek Labs launches new frequency converters/mixers and high pass filter aimed at serving the 5G/WiGig research efforts in the frequency bands from 57 to 71 GHz.

M60-3X2B Frequency Converter

Frequency converter/mixer Model M60-3X2B is a converter that operates in V-band, with RF input frequencies from 57 to 64 GHz. The LO input frequency is 28.5 to 32 GHz at +15 dBm. An integrated LO X2 multiplier generates the 57 to 64 GHz LO. The IF output frequency is 0.01 to 7 GHz . The mixer conversion loss is 6 dB typ, 8.5 dB max. with an input P1dB of 0 dBm typ. The assembly requires an input bias of +12 VDC @ 10 mA. The RF port is a 2.92 mm (F) coaxial connector, the LO port is 2.92mm (F) and the IF port is SMA (F). The RF port can be configured in WR-15 waveguide. This mixer assembly can also be used as an upconverter.

M64-7X2B Frequency Converter

V-Band frequency converter model M64-7X2B accepts an RF input frequency from 57 to 71 GHz. The LO input frequency and power is 28.5 to 35.5 GHz at +15 dBm.  An internal LO X2 multiplier generates the 57 to 71 GHz LO.  The IF output frequency is 0.01 to 14 GHz.  The mixer conversion loss is 6 dB typ, 8.5 dB max., with an input P1dB of 0 dBm typ. The assembly requires a bias of +12 VDC @ 10 mA. The RF port is WR-15, the LO port is 2.92mm (F) and the IF port is SMA(F). The RF port is also available in 1mm coax. In addition, this mixer assembly can be used as an upconverter.

M68-3X2B Frequency Converter

Frequency converter/mixer model M68-3X2B operates in V-band and accepts an RF input frequency from 64 to 71 GHz. The LO input frequency/power is 32 to 35.5 GHz at +15 dBm. An integrated LO X2 multiplier generates the 64 to 71 GHz LO. The IF output frequency is 0.01 to 7 GHz . The mixer conversion loss is 6 dB typ, 8.5 dB max. with an input P1dB of 0 dBm typ. The assembly requires +12 VDC @ 10 mA bias. The RF port is a 1 mm (F) coaxial connector, the LO port is 2.92mm (F) and the IF port is SMA(F). The RF port can be made in WR-15 waveguide. Waveguide 57 to 75 GHz High Pass Filter

Waveguide high pass filter, Model HPF-640, in a WR-15 waveguide. This filter is designed with a sharp cut off close to the passband and will pass the entire V-Band spectrum down to 57 GHz with an insertion loss of 1.0 dB typ and 1.5 dB max. The reject band is </= 55 GHz, with 20 dB rejection at 55 GHz and 40 dB at </=54 GHz. Part of a complete filter series from 10 to 110 GHz, Spacek Labs can also customize the design to suit any application or form factor.
