Millitech’s E-Band antenna polarizer on display at EDI CON USA

September 19, 2016

At the Smiths Microwave Subsystems Booth #721 at the EDI CON USA 2016 show in Boston, Mass., September 20-22, Millitech will be reviewing several new millimeter wave products for varied E-, W-, and V-Band applications.

The highlighted product is a new E-Band Linear-Circular Polarizer. This millimeter wave antenna polarizer boasts a low axial ratio of < 0.6 dB, low insertion loss of < 0.5 dB, and can be optimized for any frequency you require from 18 to 110+ GHz. With over two times the bandwidth of similar products and an industry leading axial ratio performance, this polarizer is an innovative solution.  This polarizer is 1-inch in length and can be easily integrated with Millitech’s full millimeter-wave product line that leverages the 0.125” circular waveguide interface. Additional millimeter-wave technology on display include Gallium Nitride (GaN) power amplifiers featuring exceptional output power at E-band and W-band; fully integrated high power upconverters and low noise downconverters; and power amplifiers with advanced PHEMT MMICs and transistors yielding impressive power output across the 18 to 110 GHz frequency spectrum. Finally, Millitech’s V- and E-Band Spartan Test Modules™ (STM) will also be on display. These innovative millimeter-wave test stand devices can extend your network analyzer coverage from 50 GHz to 54-69 GHz, or 68-90 GHz, and a receiver module functions as a downconverter as well. Built in detectors allow compatibility with scalar network analyzers.  They’re designed for making precise measurements of insertion loss, gain, and phase at higher frequencies without the need to invest in high-priced, modified high frequency network analyzers.
