Low Loss Dielectric Materials
The ECCOSTOCK" series low loss dielectric materials for microwave applications feature dielectric constants ranging from 1.04 to 30 with loss tangents of < 0.002. The material is effective in antennas as a lens and in patch antennas as the spacer dielectric. It is also effective as a tuning slug for high Q cavities, microwave windows for pressurized waveguide circuits and as the dielectric in coaxial devices. The materials are also known for their dielectric uniformity and isotropy and can readily be machined using carbide and diamond tooling.

PTFE Laminates
The model RO3200 series woven glass reinforced ceramic-filled polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) laminates are designed for use in direct broadcast satellite receivers, cellular base station power amplifiers, PCSs and other commercial high frequency circuit designs. The units offer stable dielectric constant over temperature, low dielectric loss, increased rigidity and improved processability over nonwoven reinforced laminates. The models RO3203 and RO3210 laminates are available with electrodeposited copper as a standard and with rolled copper or heavy metal cladding. The RO3203 laminate features a dielectric constant of 3.02 and dissipation factor of 0.0016 with dielectric thicknesses of 0.010", 0.020", 0.030" and 0.060". The RO3210 laminate features a dielectric constant of 10.2 and dissipation factor of 0.003 with dielectric thicknesses of 0.025" and 0.050".
