Intercept Technology names new marketing manager
Intercept Technology Inc., a leading EDA software developer for PCB, RF and hybrid design solutions, announced the promotion of Lindy Kretchmer as marketing manager. Kretchmer will work closely with Dale Hanzelka, director of sales and marketing, to continue Intercept’s marketing and communications efforts going forward. She will be responsible for driving the company’s marketing strategy, developing technical communications and designing company messaging. She takes over from Abby Monaco.
“Lindy brings vast experience in complex marketing initiatives as well as a strong background in technical communications,” said Hanzelka, to whom Kretchmer will directly report. “She has provided tremendous contributions to new and existing business growth. I am delighted to have a professional of her caliber in this post.”
Kretchmer comes to the position with almost 20 years of experience in the EDA industry and has also contracted in the past with such companies as Dish Network, State Farm Insurance, Ciber, Qmatic and more in various marketing and communications positions.

Kretchmer earned her B.A. from Knox College and M.A. in english from Illinois State University and brings with her a strong interest in technical marketing and communication.
