TJ Green offers three day course on microwave packaging technology

March 25, 2015

TJ Green Associates LLC announced it will be offering a three day microwave packaging technology course at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, Boxborough, Mass., May 6-8th, 2015.

"We're very excited about the upcoming microwave packaging technology course right after the New England IMAPS Symposium on May 5th," said principal and founder Thomas J. Green. "Our microwave packaging technology course helps companies develop new RF/MMIC and microwave modules for use in extreme military, space, and commercial environments.

The course is for process and quality engineers, designers, and managers who are responsible for microwave hybrid design, development, and manufacturing and takes an in-depth look at design issues, material trade-offs, substrate selection (Thick Film/Thin Film/LTCC/PWB), RF and Microwave components, and process and assembly selection."

Microwave packaging technology is an updated course given for the last three years at the New England IMAPS Symposium and to multiple aerospace and commercial microwave manufacturers over the last five years. Included in the course is a comprehensive student workbook plus continental breakfast and lunch daily. A complete course outline can be viewed at: http://www.tjgreenllc.com/course/microwave-packaging-technology - outline.

Class size is limited to allow for maximum student interaction. Register now.

The company offers microelectronics training and consulting and is led by Green; an industry recognized hybrid materials and process expert who brings over 30 years of microelectronics design and manufacturing experience to the classroom. This microwave packaging technology class will be taught along with a seasoned co-instructor Tom Terlizzi, senior v.p. of businesss development at Agile Microwave Technology Inc.

Green concluded, "Companies who invest in our training gain immediate access to specialized knowledge from industry experts that you just won't find anywhere else. We're expecting heavier than usual demand this year due to more interest in Internet of Things (IoT) wireless applications and our limited number of openings will fill up quickly."
