Digitally Controlled Attenuators

January 14, 2014

Digitally Controlled Attenuators to 40GHzAtlanTecRF launches its first ever comprehensive range of digitally controlled PIN attenuators. The ADA series covers frequencies from 500 MHz to 40 GHz in 17 models.

Bandwidths offered include those particularly suited to satellite and terrestrial communications as well as octave and multi-octave for the defence and test and measurement markets.

Attenuation ranges offered are normally 30 dB and 60 dB with a choice of either 0.25 dB or 1.0 dB attenuation steps.

In announcing the new product range, AtlanTecRF CEO, Geoff Burling said, “This is an exciting new addition to our product portfolio and provides an excellent selection of controlled attenuator products for microwave engineers.”

All models come with TTL drivers in up to 7 bits, have characteristic impedance of 50 ohms, operate from +/- 5V DC supplies and an operating temperature range of -40 +70C.
