Sub10 Systems selected for SME initiative in India

August 9, 2013

Sub10 Systems has been named as one of the successful high-tech SMEs who will receive an outstanding programme of support to do business in India. Sub10 systems were included in the group of 20 companies selected to travel to India in October, in order to participate in an intensive five day business orientation programme at the Tata Management Training Centre in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

The trip is the result a joint announcement made earlier this year by the UK Chancellor George Osborne, the Indian Finance Minister, P. Chidambaram and Tata’s Managing Director Syed Anwar Hasan, concerning a scheme to mentor innovative, high technology SMEs considered to offer products/solutions of most relevance to the Indian market.

The programme is being managed by UKTI’s Technology Partnerships Unit. The Unit is working to increase the international performance of UK high-growth technology companies through direct trade, collaboration and partnerships with global value chain owners and partners. It will work with selected multi-national and large national companies to understand their future technology needs and help them access relevant opportunities and commercial partnerships

The programme will increase the companies’ understanding of the business culture of Indian firms, and encourage creation of partnerships in the rapidly-emerging Indian market, and globally.
