Low Noise Gain Block Can Reduce BOMs for 3G / 4G Infrastructure

TriQuint has released a new low noise gain block that offers high gain over a broad .05 – 4 GHz frequency range. The TQP3M9008 is a cascadable amplifier that requires no external matching components and can reduce BOMs. The gain block provides 35.5 dBm OIP3, while still maintaining a low 1.3 dB noise figure, applicable for both Rx and Tx chains.

The TQP3M9008 also provides a flat 20 dB gain up to 1.9 GHz (50 ohm input/output impedance; industry standard SOT-89 packaging), performance that makes them ideal for 3G/4G infrastructure as well as any other general wireless applications below 4 GHz.
