Low Noise Programmable Divider Covers 0.1 to 6.5 GHz

The HMC705LP4E is a low noise GaAs HBT programmable divider that can divide by any integer value from N=1 to N=17 for input frequencies up to 6.5 GHz. The HMC705LP4E's high frequency operation along with its low noise floor makes it very useful in high performance fast settling synthesizer architectures. The phase noise for the divide-by-17 state is better than -153 dBc/Hz at offset frequencies greater than 100 kHz.

The HMC705LP4E is conveniently housed in a miniature 4x4 mm RoHS compliant QFN leadless SMT package and is specified for operation over -40°C to +85°C.
