Lowell, MA, January 29, 2009 – M/A-COM Technology Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of innovative microwave and RF design solutions and products, today announced a new 20 Watt broadband HMICTM PIN diode SPDT Switch for WiMAX, LTE and other high linearity/power applications.

The compact 3mm PQFN package of the MASW-000825-12770T offers the smallest high-power solution in the industry. It also offers broadband 50MHz to 6GHz operation with excellent isolation to insertion loss ratio for both Tx and Rx states. Specifically, this switch achieves almost 30dB of Tx to Rx isolation with less than 0.3dB of associated insertion loss and 64dBm IIP3 for the 2.3GHz – 2.7GHz WiMAX Band while reliably handling up to 20 Watts of CW power.
