Integral Systems Europe Provides Enhanced Carrier Monitoring, Signal Analysis and RF Interference Detection Solution to European Network Operator

July 6, 2011

Integral Systems Inc. announced that its European subsidiary, Integral Systems Europe (ISE), has completed the delivery and installation of a carrier monitoring, signal analysis and Radio Frequency (RF) interference detection system for Elettronica Industriale (Mediaset Group) (E.I.), one of the largest Network Operators in Italy.

In cooperation with Mediacom Digital Evolution s.r.l., ISE installed Integral Systems’ advanced SAT-DSA (Digital Spectrum Analyzer) system at E.I.’s main Teleport in Milan, Italy. The system provides automated Digital Television (DTV) monitoring and problem reporting. Due to the systems’ unique signal characterization capabilities, E.I. will be able to better maintain traffic quality and identify RF interference that can disrupt broadcast quality.

“The E.I. operators we work closely with have been stunned about the ease of use, the diversity of capabilities and the power of Integral Systems’ SAT-DSA system,” said Giovanni Silanos, Broadcast Sales Manager of MDE. “The increased awareness provided by the system increases network efficiency and ensures E.I. is providing the stringent level of service its customers demand.”

“Providing the most advanced technology solutions that make the lives of our customers easier is our main focus when designing our products, solutions and services,” said Bruno Dupas, President of Integral Systems Europe. “SAT-DSA has long been an industry standard for carrier monitoring, signal analysis and RF interference in North America, and we are pleased to see the trend continue as we work with major European network operators like E.I.”

SAT-DSA is a product of SAT Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integral Systems.
