July 17th 2009, Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announces it will be exhibiting at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) for the first time in 2009.
CST will be showcasing its 3D EDA software solutions at DAC for the first time in 2009. Based around rigorous 3D electromagnetic (EM) analysis, CST's tools offer invaluable insight into SI/PI performance of critical nets, interconnects, packaging transitions and all high speed board and package signal routes. A powerful interface allows analysis and automatic optimizations to achieve specific design goals.
Embedded in many EDA design flows, CST offers full "virtual prototyping" and can help engineers to achieve first-time design success. CST STUDIO SUITE(tm) products offer seamless import of layout and package data allowing detailed characterization, analysis and performance optimization of complex devices from major layout tools.
"DAC is the primary EDA related show worldwide and we believe that it will provide a perfect arena to promote our software solutions," commented Jonathan Oakley, VP Sales and Marketing, CST of America. "Many companies are still investing in R&D despite production cuts. Our customers understand that investing in software design tools will help them improve signal and power integrity making for more reliable, efficient and less emissive products".
"CST's products are targeted towards the research and development stages of EDA, characterizing and optimizing critical PCB and interconnect paths and overall systems for signal and power integrity," commented Martin Timm, Director of Marketing, CST. "We believe that this year will proved to be an opportune time to attend DAC with our revenue from EDA customers showing strong growth."
