Crane Co., a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products,announced that Eric C. Fast, chief executive officer, will retire from Crane Co. in January 2014. Fast joined Crane in 1999 as president and chief operating officer and was promoted to chief executive officer in January 2001. He will be succeeded by Max H. Texas Instruments Inc. introduced two analog front ends (AFEs) that provide low power, high performance and space savings for test and measurement, wireless communications and optical networking equipment. The AFE7071 is a complete radio transmitter that reduces board space by up to 80 percent compared to discrete implementations. It integrates a dual digital-to-analog converter (DAC), tunable baseband filters, IQ modulator and digital quadrature modulation correction circuit.
CTS Corp. announced the appointment of Kieran O'Sullivan to the position of president and chief executive officer effective January 7, 2013. Mr. O'Sullivan will succeed Vinod M. Khilnani, current chairman and CEO, who will remain on the board of directors of the corporation and continue to serve as executive chairman until the Annual Shareholders Meeting in 2013 and retire from CTS Corp. on December 31, 2013.
