At the CTIA 2013™ Mobile Marketplace in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 21-23, in Booth 4234, W. L. Gore & Associates will be debuting its latest venting and cabinet cooling products that enable the telecommunications industry to remain connected and protected.

With the recent introduction of its new light weight, battery powered, 2 x 20W iPA PIM Analyzer, Kaelus is offering a trade-in program for customers wanting to replace their existing portable test instruments with the newest Kaelus PIM test equipment available.

CTS Electronic Components Inc. announces development of Model 148, oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO), which use the unique SC cut crystal technology to significantly reduce power consumption (0.23W at +25ºC) and allow for additional board space with its miniature-sized package.

Pentek Inc. announced the new Talon® RF/IF signal recording and playback system: the Model RTR 2727 rugged portable recorder suitable for military and aerospace applications. The system features recording and playback of IF signals up to 700 MHz with signal bandwidths to 200 MHz. It can be configured with 500 MHz 12-bit A/Ds or 400 MHz 14-bit A/Ds and an 800 MHz 16-bit D/A.

AWT Global has launched a new line of portable passive intermodulation (PIM) testers with an extended carrier power range: the PIM+ series. These systems are equally suited for testing macro cells as well as outdoor and in-building DAS installations. While 2 x 20 W (2 x 43 dBm) carrier power is the reference for standard for PIM test systems, the new PIM+ offers an extended adjustable power range of +15 dBm to +44 dBm for each carrier.

Kaelus announces the availability of LTE 800 test capability in both its Portable and Bench Passive Intermodulation (PIM) Test Equipment. 

API Technologies Corp. announced a new high gain, circularly polarized antenna array developed for Inmarsat services. It is designed for use in a variety of applications including satellite networks, two-way voice and data communications and broadband portable terminals.

Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., a fabless provider of high-performance radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits (ICs), announced the availability of the SPDT PE42421 RF switch, which is available in a miniature, 6-lead SC-70 package. With its small package size, strong ESD performance of 2 kV on the RFC port, low voltage support down to 1.8V VDD, and low power consumption of 9 microamperes (typ.), the new switch is well suited for battery-powered portable applications, as well as automotive-telematics applications, such as vehicle entry systems and emergency calls.

The CSRF series from Stackpole is a foil on ceramic carrier technology that can achieve lower resistance values than thick film technology and offers excellent TCR of as low as 50 ppm. The CSRF0805 is rated at 0.5 W and is available in resistance values from 10 up to 100 milliohms, in 1 and 5 percent tolerances.
