Cassidian has signed a seven-year system maintenance contract with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency for the Rakel nationwide radio communications network.
Cassidian has won the contract to expand the metro coverage of Beijing Government Shared Radio Network. The company will provide 24 TB3 base stations and four TTRX transmitter-receiver units to expand the coverage of the new metro lines.
Cassidian has won a bid to deliver its digital TETRA communication system for the first tram network (Hunnan Xinqu) in Shenyang, China.
Cassidian has launched the TB3s TETRA base station, which can be fitted with broadband LTE carriers. It includes the same powerful features as other TB3 series TETRA base stations, guarantees the same utter reliability, and can also house broadband LTE eNode equipment that enables LTE communications in addition to regular TETRA services.
The EADS-Belgacom consortium has signed a contract for the replacement of one of the major building blocks of the Belgian radio communications network ASTRID.
