Harris Corp., an international communications and information technology company, has received a $29 million order to provide a nation in Asia with Falcon III® wideband tactical radios. The radios will provide the country's armed forces with critical country-wide data communications and improved mission capabilities as part of an overall modernization effort.
Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), the global wireless and broadcast infrastructure specialist, announced its new ICA12-50JPLW white plenum-rated coaxial cable, the latest addition to its popular ClearFill®Line of plenum-rated wideband cables for in-building applications. Additionally, RFS has announced the availability of plenum-rated factory-fit jumpers which will provide a time-saving, cost effective, and high-performance solution addressing the need for short runs of coaxial cable.
Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) introduced a wideband frequency synthesizer with integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) that delivers the industry’s lowest phase noise. Its combination of ultra-low noise phase-locked loop (PLL) and industry’s highest phase detector frequency outperforms the competition in both phase noise and spurs.
Harris Corp. has been awarded an $85 million IDIQ contract to provide the U.S. Air Force with Falcon multiband manpack tactical radios and accessories. Harris also received initial delivery orders of $33 million.

Boeing has received a $338.7 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to produce and launch a tenth Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellite. The authorization includes production, launch site activities, initial orbital operations and checkout.
