Norsat International Inc., a leading provider of innovative communication solutions that enable the transmission of data, audio and video for challenging applications and environments, announced that it has closed a definitive agreement to acquire certain business assets and assume certain liabilities of a U.S.-based satellite communication systems company. Norsat will pay US$530,170 and will finance the transaction with cash from operations.

Tektronix Inc. announced that lab testing has shown that its next generation performance oscilloscopes - due for availability in 2014 - will deliver real-time bandwidth of 70 GHz, with significant upside potential. DragonWave Inc. announced the closing of the acquisition of Nokia Siemens Networks’ microwave transport business including its associated operational support system (OSS) and related support functions. The acquisition was effected pursuant to the Amended and Restated Master Acquisition Agreement between DragonWave Inc., its wholly-owned subsidiary DragonWave S.à r.l. and Nokia Siemens Networks dated May 3, 2012 (the “Master Acquisition Agreement”).
