IQD’s latest high performance oscillator, the IQRB-1, offers a stability around a 1000 times more accurate than a typical oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO). This means it can be used as a free run frequency source in applications such as LTE (Long Term Evolution) systems that require exceptional timing accuracy. Rakon UK is proud to announce it has developed a 7 x 5 mm small form factor acceleration tolerant TCXO. The RFPT705 TCXO is available now with frequencies from 16 to 40 MHz and uses Rakon’s patented dual-crystal design giving better than 0.5 ppb/g acceleration sensitivity. It is based on Rakon’s proprietary Pluto™ TCXO ASIC, a single chip oscillator with an analogue compensation circuit, which results in a frequency versus temperature stability as tight as ± 200 ppb.
