Linear Technology Corp. introduces the LTC6957, a DC to 300 MHz dual output buffer/driver/logic translator, ideal for converting sine waves into low phase noise logic level signals. Prior solutions were unable to perform this conversion without introducing a significant amount of jitter.
Analog Devices Inc. introduced a clock buffer and divider IC that combines high-speed, extremely low jitter (41 fs across the 12-kHz to 20-MHz band) and selectable division capability.
National Instruments announced the NI PXIe-5162 digitizer and updates to the LabVIEW Jitter Analysis Toolkit. The digitizer provides high-speed measurements at four times the vertical resolution of a traditional 8-bit oscilloscope.
Micrel Inc., an industry leader in high-performance linear and power solutions, LAN, and timing and communications solutions, announces ClockWorks Fusion, a revolutionary clock generation product family that integrates the crystal, frequency synthesizer and fan-out buffer to deliver the industry’s highest level of integration. The MX85 is the first in a series of devices aimed at simultaneously meeting the ultra-low jitter (less than 200fs) and integration requirements of 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe 2.0/3.0, Fibre Channel, SAS/SATA, and high speed reference clocking for FPGA and SerDesapplications.
Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) introduced an RF clock IC, (radio frequency clock integrated circuit) with the industry’s lowest jitter for communications and instrumentation equipment that requires high-speed data conversion and optimum SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) performance. The AD9525 RF clock IC achieves absolute broadband rms (root-mean square) jitter of 83-fs (1-kHz to 100-MHz offset range), at 245.76 MHz, including jitter contribution from the external VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator).
Fox Electronics, a leading global supplier of frequency control solutions and an IDT company, has enhanced its innovative XpressO line of low jitter configurable oscillators with the XpressO-TC, a new TCXO version with custom frequencies up to 250 MHz. As with all XpressO oscillators, the new TCXOs can be delivered in less than ten working days, a major improvement over the standard lead times of competitive offerings.
