INSIGHT – Analysis and Diagnostic Software for Antenna Measurement Post Processing
Date & Time:
September 18, 2013; 8 AM PT/ 11 AM ET/ 3 PM UTC
Microwave Vision Group
INSIGHT is a unique and advanced post processing tool for antenna analysis and diagnostics. Thanks to an innovative formulation of the inverse electromagnetic problem, INSIGHT is able to reconstruct authentic equivalent electromagnetic current distributions and extreme near fields on your antenna under test from antenna measurement data. Any 3D geometry enclosing the antenna can be used in the reconstruction. INSIGHT can be applied on any antenna measured data, such as Near Field data (Spherical, Planar, Cylindrical) and Far Field data. Taking advantage of the Fast Multipole Method (FMM) in the calculation of the equivalent currents allows investigation of even large antennas.
INSIGHT has a wide range of analysis and diagnostics applications:
- Provide In-depth Understanding of Antenna Radiation Characteristics
- Antenna Diagnostics
- Measurement Diagnostics & Filtering
- EMC Problems
- Detect Spurious Radiation
- NF/FF Transformation and Back Transformation
- Source for Numerical Computation
- Data Interpolation / Extrapolation
- Mitigation of Truncation Errors
In this webinar, we will present the key features of INSIGHT by way of examples of antenna measurement post processing, including small and large antennas.
