Custom MMIC, a developer of performance-driven monolithic microwave integrated circuits, has announced a general purpose, double balanced fundamental mixer—the CMD178C3. This new mixer can be used for up and down converting applications between 11 and 21 GHz.

The CMD169P4 (5 to 7 GHz), CMD170P4 (7.5 to 9 GHz) and CMD171P4 (9.5 to 11 GHz) each have an output 1 dB compression point of greater than +28 dBm, with gain levels from 20 to 30 dB.
