Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., a fabless provider of high-performance radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits (ICs), announced the expansion of its European operations with the opening of a design, manufacturing, and sales facility in Reading, United Kingdom (UK). The company’s UK facility focuses on developing dedicated RFIC products of European content, to better address the European requirements; including those of the European commercial, industrial, and high-reliability (hi-rel) markets, which have been a cornerstone for Peregrine’s successful growth across Europe.
Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., a fabless provider of high-performance radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits (ICs), announced the availability of the SPDT PE42421 RF switch, which is available in a miniature, 6-lead SC-70 package. With its small package size, strong ESD performance of 2 kV on the RFC port, low voltage support down to 1.8V VDD, and low power consumption of 9 microamperes (typ.), the new switch is well suited for battery-powered portable applications, as well as automotive-telematics applications, such as vehicle entry systems and emergency calls.
Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., a fabless provider of high-performance radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits (ICs), announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,500,000 shares of common stock at a price to the public of
Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. (Peregrine), a fabless provider of high-performance radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits (ICs), announced from booth # 2009 at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS2012) in Montreal, two new Digitally Tunable Capacitors (DTCs) — the PE64101 and PE64102 (PE64101/2) DTCs. The 5-bit, 32-state DTCs, designed using Peregrine’s DuNE™ tuning technology, enable wide-band tunable networks and minimize mismatch losses, improve system efficiency, and reduce radio complexity for cost-sensitive applications, such as RFID, phase shifters, and wireless communications, among others.
Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. (Peregrine) announced from booth # 2009 at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS2012) in Montreal, the SP3T PE42430 RF switch. Developed on Peregrine’s patented UltraCMOS® technology, the PE42430 switch combines low insertion loss with high linearity, high isolation, and small package size, making it well suited for WLAN and Bluetooth® applications in the 2.4 GHz band, as well as general broadband switching applications.
Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. (Peregrine), a leading provider of high-performance radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits (ICs) announced that the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has launched an investigation into whether RF Micro Devices Inc. (RFMD) products infringe certain Peregrine patents relating to RF ICs and switch technology. The action and investigation further include Motorola Mobility Inc. and HTC Corp. (HTC), whose products incorporate the alleged infringing RF ICs.
Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. announced that its first power management products, the UltraCMOS®-based Point-of-Load (POL) DC-DC Buck Regulators with integrated switches, are available for sampling.
