Filter startup Resonant released Q2 financial results and progress cracking the mobile filter market. The seventh customer, an established component supplier for the Chinese RF front-end market, added two quadplexers to the design backlog.
Mobile filter start-up Resonant Inc. announced that the company signed a development and licensing agreement for two quadplexers with a new customer, a fabless RFIC provider for the mobile RF front-end market in China. The company also disclosed that one of Resonant’s filter design is designed in an OEM handset and is generating the company’s first royalty revenue.

Terry Lingren, CEO of filter startup Resonant Inc., has stepped down as the company's CEO, announcing plans to retire. George Holmes, Resonant's president, chief commercial officer and a board member has assumed the role. Lingren was one of the founders and served as CEO and on the board since Resonant was formed in 2012.
Resonant Inc. will develop up to four temperature compensated (TC) SAW filters for an existing first tier customer, under a new development and licensing agreement the company announced. These designs are the first Resonant will do using a TC-SAW process.

Jeff Killian will assume the CFO role at mobile filter start-up Resonant Inc. on October 24. Previously, he served as CFO at Cascade Microtech, with prior experience at TriQuint Semiconductor and US Bank.
