The software improves design productivity and speeds circuit and electromagnetic simulation performance. ADS 2016 provides new RF printed circuit board, laminate, module, and silicon RFIC products, as well as technologies, capabilities and other enhancements.
Keysight Technologies Inc. introduced the enhanced U8903B audio analyzer with Bluetooth audio measurement capabilities. The Bluetooth option enables the U8903B to make high-performance Bluetooth audio testing for R&D, quality assurance and production tests in the consumer and professional audio and wireless communication industries.The U8903B operates with Bluetooth version 4.0 and supports AGHSP/HSP 1.2, AGHFP/HFP 1.6, A2DP and AVRCP profiles.
Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced a four-level pulsed amplitude modulation (PAM-4) capability for the Keysight EEs of EDA Advanced Design System (ADS) Channel Simulator. The introduction of this capability further advances Keysight’s leadership position in IBIS-AMI SerDes channel simulation. With Keysight’s new ADS PAM-4 capability, system designers can now use PAM-4 IBIS-AMI models within the industry standard ADS Channel Simulator.
Keysight's IntegraVision PA2203A 4-channel power analyzer gives R&D engineers working on three-phase power devices an intuitive tool that delivers the dynamic views they need to see. The PA2203A provides 0.05 percent basic accuracy, 16-bit resolution measurements and additionally lets users visualize transients, in-rush currents and state changes with a 5-M samples-per-second digitizer that captures voltage, current and power in real time with 2.5-MHz bandwidth.
Keysight Technologies Inc. announced the TS-8989 Body and Safety Electronics Reference Solution, a ready-to-go PXI-based solution for testing body and safety control modules in the automotive electronic test space. The TS-8989 reference solution includes a chassis that combines an 8-slot PXI chassis, and 11-slot switch/load unit with an integrated 8-ch DIO and ±12 V fixed DC power supply for fixture control.
Keysight Technologies Inc. introduced a wireless power transfer analysis option for its E5072A, E5061B, and E5063A ENA series network analyzers. With this software option, the ENA series network analyzers are now able to effectively address the needs of emerging wireless power transfer (WPT) markets. A key factor in designing WPT devices is the performance of the power transfer efficiency between coupled coils and resonators.
Keysight Technologies Inc. announced it is collaborating with the University of Bristol on 5G millimeter-wave research. The collaboration combines Bristol’s leading-edge wireless research with Keysight’s deep experience and capability in millimeter-wave and ultra-broadband simulation, design, test and measurement. The work will contribute to the development of the new capabilities needed for 5G.
Keysight Technologies Inc. introduced two photovoltaic array simulators, the N8937APV and N8957APV, to help engineers develop, verify and maximize the performance of inverter maximum power point tracking algorithms and circuits. Engineers can use the Keysight N8937APV and N8957APV photovoltaic array (PV) simulators in a laboratory or on a manufacturing line to simulate the output characteristics of a real-world photovoltaic array.
