Zambia has chosen Thales for the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the country’s air traffic management and radar surveillance system following an international competitive tender by the Ministry of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication.
Thales is developing the multifunction Sea Fire 500 naval radar – a fully solid-state four-panel phased-array antenna that is the culmination of three years of advanced research into new radar technologies and architectures, conducted with the support from the French defence procurement agency.
